This summer, we have a unique opportunity to learn how to better minister to our military and veteran men and women in our churches, communities, and families.

If you have served in the military, chances are that you have come face to face with a soldier’s suicide. Soldier suicide hit home for my family two years ago when we lost our son-in-law (an army sergeant).

There are great organizations that help warriors with the physical wounds of combat, but often the invisible wounds go unrecognized and far too often lead to brokenness, addiction, and suicide. The Warriors Journey specializes in recognizing and addressing these invisible wounds.

I have invited Kevin Weaver, CEO of The Warriors Journey (TWJ) to join us in SNEMN the week of August 21st-25th. Kevin will present the resources and services TWJ offers to Military Members, Veterans, and their families.  Our goal is to inform pastors, and church leaders about the resources and services available to their church and community to reach and disciple the warriors in our congregations and communities.

While we are focusing on our SNEMN ministry leaders, this event is also open to veterans and people in your church who may work with the military (past or present).

The meetings will run from 10 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. on the following dates and locations:
