SNEMN NextGen Ministries exists to equip and develop NextGen leaders and to raise up the next generation of ministers who will carry forth the mission of God both domestically and abroad. Through conferences, events, cohorts and trainings, we are here to help equip you for ministry here in Southern New England.

Impactful leadership to the next generation requires healthy leaders, equipped with resources and
empowered by the Holy Spirit. SNEMN NextGen Ministries desires to resource, develop and advance
you as a leader as you serve faithfully in your ministry assignment. Below are some resources
available to you. Please reach out to us if you would like more information on anything you see below:

The concept is simple: we give so others can speed the light of the gospel to a world in darkness. This is accomplished by providing the essential transportation and creative communication equipment for missionary evangelism.

Through modern transportation, radio, television, print, audio and digital equipment, our missionaries can help make Jesus known.

Speed the light is the student initiated, volunteer, charitable program that provides much needed equipment to missionaries across the nation and in over 180 countries around the world. Since 1944, students just like you have found creative ways to raise funds.

As a result, nearly 75 years later, Speed the Light is one of the most effective youth mission’s ministries in existence. Since its beginning, over $300 million dollars have been raised for missionary equipment around the world. And Speed the Light is still helping to disciple students to live a life of generosity as they become personally responsible for the mission of God by helping missionaries make Jesus known throughout the world.

For over 75 years, students just like you have responded to give to those sent to the mission field. Simply put, we give so our missionaries can travel faster, preach clearer and be heard louder in order for all to know Jesus.

How will you respond?

All throughout the year, you can commit to give. Whether you want to make a personal donation or pledge through your youth group, click the link below to get involved today!

Youth Pastors and students, we want you to share your stories of Speed the Light giving! Don’t forget to tag @snenextgen on social media or email us at [email protected]. We want to celebrate with you for every dollar raised! We cannot wait to hear the creative ways you are raising funds and awareness for missions giving.

Fine Arts Festival

Fine Arts is a discipleship tool of the Assemblies of God Youth Ministries designed to help students discover, develop, and deploy their ministry gifts. In a competitive venue, students throughout Southern New England are given the opportunity to have their skills evaluated by qualified ministers, industry professionals and educators who encourage excellence, offer ideas for improvement, and inspire students to use their gifts in the local church, community and around the world. By involving your students in Fine Arts, they will gain experience and develop skills that will last a lifetime.

Youth Convention is a gathering of student ministries within our Network for the purpose of drawing near to God in a high energy, Gospel centered, Spirit empowered environment. Youth Pastors often share how this event ignites a passion for Christ that then is brought back to their Youth groups. It is an opportunity for students to engage in corporate worship, a challenging biblical message and develop like-minded relationships with other students around them.

Summer Camps are a tool used to assist young people in developing their spiritual walk with Christ. Our camps are jam packed with team building activities, recreational opportunities as well as spirit led worship and powerful teaching from the word of God. It is our priority to provide a place where students can learn about God and then put what they have learned into action. Many have noted calls into ministry, salvation decisions and spiritual growth as a result of what God does in the hearts of our students while at camp.

NextGen Leader Gathering

All Kid's Pastors, Youth Pastors and Young Adult Pastors are invited to join us at the network office for a time of community, discussion and lunch. The event is free, but registration is required.

PK Retreat

PK Retreat is a special weekend designed uniquely for the teenage children of our credentialed ministers and missionaries (ages 12-18)! We would love for you to join our PK community to build lasting friendships, experience powerful moments in the presence of God, and create memories that last a lifetime.
